On the whole, Raaz 3 is a raaz I wish Vikram Bhatt had kept to himself.

The only good thing about Esha Gupta is that she looks like a younger, prettier version of Lara Dutta. Film : Raaz 3 Producer : Mahesh Bhatt Director : Vikram Bhatt Star Cast : Emraan Hashmi, Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta. Emraan Hashmi is Emraan Hashmi, need I say more? He does however, look, much more attractive than his usual self. She fits perfectly in the part of a fading starlet (I wonder why?). Well, let me rephrase that: Bipasha Basu is hot and that, my friends, is not a terrible thing. I wonder if the Bhatts believe that music, like stories, is also of seven main types, hence every song must be inspired from another song. The music of the film, as we already know, is also вЂњinspiredвЂќ big time from existing music. The choreography is so bad it makes you wonder if there might be a deeper meaning to the silly hand gestures being performed. Two words on the choreography: outrageously ridiculous. An overdose of 3D cannot make a bad film good, when will you learn that? Anything else youвЂ™d want me to pop out?вЂќ Really Vikram, that was so not needed.

Look, Bipasha Basu is popping out (pun intended) too, and look I can even make a lamp-post pop out. Set against the backdrop of the glitz, lights, glamour and back-stabbing cruelty of the entertainment world a fading movie diva Shanaya (Bipasha Basu). Vikram Bhatt is like a little kid showing off his 3D technology: вЂњLook, IвЂ™m making Emraan Hashmi pop out. The 3D effects couldвЂ™ve been good had they not been so over the top. Basically, Vikram Bhatt takes a bit of this and a bit of that and churns out a whole lot of crap. The concept of Raaz 3 is also вЂњinspired byвЂќ or rather is an вЂњIndianised versionвЂќ of a whole bunch of other films ( read All about Eve, Poltergeist, etc). ItвЂ™s not you, itвЂ™s Vikram Bhatt who has copied, or as the BhattвЂ™s would say вЂњbeen inspired byвЂќ, entire scenes from films like Arachnophobia, It, Final Destination and The Ring. Among the most disturbing clichГ©s that Raaz 3 reinforces is regarding the innate negativity of women the other adage that women themselves are their biggest enemies becomes true after considering the fact that a female writer has written the story of this film that so unabashedly berates women.ДonвЂ™t be surprised if shots and even complete scenes in Raaz 3 look a bit too familiar. Raaz 3, in essence, is about this war between the spirits and how religion is the only force that is capable of winning this hypothetical battle. Watch Raaz 3: the third dimension(Raaz 3: the third dimension 3d, Raaz 3d). вЂњBhatt has made a number of scary movies, but here he doesnвЂ™t offer much thatвЂ™s new or original, relying instead on a blaring soundtrack and standard-issue fright elements such as a crazed clown, buckets of blood and a maggoty corpse on the loose.Believe it or not, Bollywood is still making films about black magic, evil spirits and holy spirits and the war between evil and holy spirits.
